The turtle and the rabbit

A story by Miss Era Luitel

Today the turtle was roaming in a garden. Suddenly, the rabbit comes and says, "hahahaha you small guy! You might fall if you tried to walk." But the turtle says in a sweet voice, "showoffing is bad," but the rabbit replies, "you are saying that because you can't walk properly." The turtle was still cool. And the rabbit adds, "follow me!" and starts walking towards the jungle. Meanwhile, rabbit made a plan to prank the turtle and the rabbit hid behind a tree. He says, "Woo!" from behind the tree to scare the turtle but a lion comes and eats the rabbit.

Moral of this story is: Show-offing is bad!

The turtle was roaming in a garden. The rabbit laughed. The turtle stayed cool. And then — the jungle had its own plans. Era's retelling of a classic has a sweet voice, a strutting rabbit, and an ending nobody sees coming.
